Bartlett, Model 1883, 17J, 18S, 14K gold HC recase with fancy initial to front, gold cuvette, fancy white enamel SS impressed dial with light blue outer chapter, gold foil numeral surrounds, blue insets at the 5-minute positions and below signature, gold foil decoration below signature, fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#9011448. Gross weight of assembled watch 94.2 dwt (146.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical scattered fine to micro-fine scratches to plates, few specks of oxide to regulator assembly, barrel bridge with one mismatched screw having rounded head, balance cock screw with rounded head may also be a replacement; dial with two faint hls, edge flake under bezel at 12, tiny edge flake under bezel at 6; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, tiny ding to cuvette near center, very mild ding to rear right of center that is evident as ripple to reflected light of inner lid surface but has only very minimal exterior visibility, excellent turning detail with only slight reduction to shoulders; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
